The stones in the Sihl wear pretty snowcaps at the moment.
The origin of the little Sihl river is to be found on the 2283-meter Drusberg. It flows through the Sihl Lake near Einsiedeln and meanders through the Sihl Valley (Sihltal) towards Zuerich, where it meets the Limmat River. At this place we are far from the bustle and metropolitan pulse. I drive along the river every day, but to reach this spot I made a littel detour and followed the river by foot a while.
