The scent of this lilac hyacinth is numbing. I got a pot with three "indoor" plants from a businesspartner for the office. "Have a little spring, while it is gray outside",... was the intention. But this kind of "spring" is unbearable in a small room. So I took it home, where it can spread its fragrance in a bigger space. Still an overdose,... the scent is inescapable — it’s the fierce sweetness of it, like being force-fed a bucket of syrup.
