2017-03-10 sapphire

Chinese inkstone and blueish inkstick. To get the ink you need to grind the inkstick (normally in black for example for Chinese calligraphy) and some drops of water on the inkstone until tiny particles of colour float in the water and you achieve the colour intensity you want. (As you can see I did not use this stick before. Normally I only use the black one made from pine soot and this only on rare occasions.)

For the rainbow challenge: sapphire / Week N°2: paint
