@helenm2016 ;-) I did not use a flash in this one, I prefer to work with natural light and the snail was just slow enough I could use 0.1 sec (1/10) exposure. For the underground I use a black liner and a glass I took from a picture frame toa chieve the reflection, and the backdrop is black felt. Actually it is more or less the same setting, as in my food shots. A while ago I made a behind the scene picture,... this is very similar setup, only that I am very near with the macro lense for the tiny snail and flowers this time.
