@jennywren Hi Jen, thanks for your nice comment. No, I did not use layers in this picture. I already captured the magazines in low light and then pulled the shadows up in photoshop elements, until the where black.

@mona65 thanks for your reply. Our photo clubs next comp is about curves. I thought your photo looked like it would fit the bill. I'd like to have a go at doing this to see how it turns out.
