Some people on the other side of the lake (Lucerne probably) have some nicer weather than we have. At least for a few minutes. When I saw this window in the clouds from our living room, I shouldered the camera, took the bike and drove a couple of hundred meters, to get an open view.
It is cold, but still no snow down here. At least the clouds promise some percipitation. Let's hope it is snow.
Addendum: I just realised that a patch of snow on the Pilatus Mountain flank, looks like a monsters eye, looking firmly from behind the rays.
so, mona. i'm wondering if my treat for 2019 can be to come and live with you. i would soak up these views, enjoy your fabulous food, and watch and learn how you create your gorgeous images. doesn't seem too much to ask ;)
@pistache No problem at all Clare, just come! It would be a great pleasure to have you here. There is cake too. You can have my one-person-tent and a sleeping bag, or as a winter option you share the couch with our kitty. ;-)
Light! It's such a glorious thing. It's the magic we seek when creating a photograph. You've captured it so well here. (And yes, I see the monster's eye!). Thank you for the comments shared on the last couple pics of mine. Appreciate your time in visiting.
@jyokota The invitation also applies to you dear Junko. It would be a pleasure to show you "my" view and a little bit more of Switzerland. And of course I would bake a little something for you,... Just let me know when you are around. It would be a pleasure...
@jyokota Oh Junko, I would definitely like a trip to Chicago,... but life traps me here,... so I look forward to see you in Switzerland some day. Please get in touch with me, when you have travel plans.
