A 19 year old circuit board of/for something I did not understand, when my hubby explained it. But I think he as well did not understand what I had in my mind, when I asked him to "borrow" me such a thingy. The discussion went like that: "What kind of board you need?" "Well, I just need one, you don't need anymore." "What for, what specifications, connections, etc.? ..... Ahhh I get it, its for a photo." "whisperingly: yes"
I can just imagine your conversation as you noted it above. It makes me smile that this type of conversation happens in your house too. Love the little people and your creative capture. :)
