When my favorite camera gave up in our Scotland vacation a month ago, I new right away, that I will not repair it, as it hat a few quirks from some "accidents". Those who follow me, new the stories. And I confess that I had an eye on what Sony brought on the market the last few weeks. Of course some fantastic toys. But changing to full frame and/or a new lens system is soooo way out of my budget.... as I would have to start all over. So I decided to embrace the lens family I have (some are old and beloved minolta lenses) and just replace the broken camera with the same body I had. So have a first picture with the new one, that is far away to be a new model. But it is already loved and adopted in my photo-family.

Magnificent image. I think it’s a good idea to remain on the same brand of camera. You can avoid the somehow painful learning process. Even though you are so technologically expert that it wouldn’t take much for you! Congratulations! When are you coming to show us your new camera?
