My mums beautiful velvetlike tibouchina bush has the most enchantintg flowers, but if you dare to look closely at the stamens and stigma, they look a tiny bit "halloweenish".
In German we call it a violet bush, but I learned it has many other names too: glory Bush, Lasiandra, Princess Flower, Pleroma, Purple Glory Tree,... or tibouchina.
