Climbed 500 altitude meters with the bike, to have a chance to see the sun set above the sea of thick fog (inversion). But this was the view on top of the mountain. I normally like this mysterious foggy mood. But living in this *soup* all winter, leaving home in the dark, and getting home, when it is dark again, I hoped to see some rays and not innumerable shades of grey. ;-)
But when the sun went down, the fog diluted a bit and I could capture a few pics of colour above the sea of fog. I probably will post one of it tomorrow. But they need some treatment.
It is a great foggy shot with the silhouettes of the trees and the lamppost breaking the symmetry, but it looks like you have put yourself in some danger in order to capture the incoming car.
@etienne Hi Etienne, thanks for your comment. And thanks for taking the safety of a photographers serious, and mention it, if you think it isn't so. We all should think before shoot, and beeing aware of hazards. No photo is it worth, to take any risk. But please, no worries, I was all the time completely safe. a) this is actually an alley between the buildings of a boarding school, with a general motorized vehicel ban. Exception only for the principal, with a speed limit of 10 km/h b) the road/path makes a curve where I stood, and the car of the "principal" had do go right / or hit a fence. ;-)
