I had the pleasure to be invited to witness a Raku Japanese pottery process tonight. Great adventure for me, but quite challenging to photograph. Especially as I think I was often just staring in the fire, mouth wide open in awe and not thinking about clicking that shutter.
That would be interesting. It does look difficult to photograph with the extremes of light, but it looks like you captured it. I like the glow on the artists faces.
How exciting to see this view M and I totally understand the fascination with fire and how it can make you disconnected with everything else around you. :)
