I had the pleasure to be invited to witness a Raku Japanese pottery process tonight. Great adventure for me, but quite challenging to photograph. Especially as I think I was often just staring in the fire, mouth wide open in awe and not thinking about clicking that shutter.
Wow, thsts the pottery they out into straw isn't it?? Fabulous photo, real story here.

That would be interesting. It does look difficult to photograph with the extremes of light, but it looks like you captured it. I like the glow on the artists faces.

That was how i felt when we saw whales . I just stared and could not take pictures. Finally Joe grabbed my camera. This is wonderfully dramatic.
