Another one from my little escape. The view from an old ruin on the Castelfeder hill. The hill is as fascinating as it is unique. Old wall footings point to fortifications dating back to Late Antiquity and to a pre-historic settlement. Down in the valley the oaks still carry their red leaves, and you can see the river Adige/Etsch and far in the mist "Chiusa di Salorno".
