Very strong winds in the valleys and strong gale-forces (we call it Orkan) on the mountains. The famous trio Monch (left), Eiger (middle) and Jungfrau (right)n the Bernese Alps taken with the long lens from our balcony. The Eiger Northface is the black cliff in the middle facing us. Not visible the Jungfraujoch, what would be directly behind the Eiger from our viewpoint.
I like how the successive layers are marked by a progressive evolution from dark at the front to clear at the back, as it often happens in your mountain pictures. The eyes are then taken to the furthest mountains.
