2020-04-01 paper 01/30

April: One material; 30 shots.
Paper: sticky notes

Inspired by Northy's @northy challenge "0ne subject; 30 shots" https://365project.org/discuss/themes-competitions/43359/one-subject-30-shots. I will expand the topic a little for me and photograph cellulose (paper) in the broadest sense for one month. So for me, the subject could range from toilet paper (yes, we still have some), over folded brochures to an easter molded pulp egg carton. However, I will try to implement this with different techniques, lenses and cameras, so that it asks for creativity and remains a challenge for me.
I knew instantly it was a cube of sticky notes. And I also thought instantly -- HOW did she present it so artistically? Lovely tones, lovely shapes, lovely composition.

You do these projects so well! What do you use for lighting these things in such a soft way?

@angelar Hi Angela, thank you. At this time of the year, we have some soft afternoon light falling on the dinner table. These are shot against this light, and are in manual mode extremely over exposed. With Gaussian Blur I can add some softness in post processing to some parts of the picture. Hope this helps. But do not hesitate to contact me, if it doesn't.
