...is in the air. The distinctive smell of creamy, flowery and ˋsummery´ elderflowers is everywhere, as every house, every shed and every little wooden building has at least one bush growing on the sunny side. If not on vacation I would „brew“ syrup,... but here I just enjoy.
@jyokota Yes Holunderblütensirup is really special and so typical for us in Switzerland, Bavaria or the parts of Austria, where I have some roots. It is so sad, that at the moment lot‘s of traditions that involved travel have to be left out. I miss this the most too. I really do hope that things get normal again, and that I probably can meet up with you and @Caterina somewhere in good old Europe. And I make myself a note, to bring elder flower syrup. 😀
@mona65 how nice of you, Mona. I think so often of the photo walks with you and @jyokota Junko in good old Europe! We all look forward to the end of this nightmare. Just like the monster Idra when we think we have cut its head a new head grows…
@caterina I can hardly wait to be with you again, and let's go visit @mona65 ! Years ago I said I wanted to visit Mona and I haven't yet. OH!! I just realized, I will be in Basel in January. Hmm . . . train trip from there?
