@30pics4jackiesdiamond Hi Jackie,... NO I do not waste much. When doing food shots, I have a look that the surface is really clean beforehand, so that I can use any food for consumtion. That little bit of powdered sugar I use (half a teaspoon maybe) I just shovel that into my tea. I'm very sensitive to not waste any food!
And the other question. I stop the motion of the sugar with a external flash, prepared with a black paper tube, to direct the light only to the sugar. (Didn't work that well this time).
