It's the time of the year, when the snow line is coming down and reached the tree line (1600 - 1800), but down here the forest still have their autumnal dress. Especially the beech trees still have their coppery leaves. But they will not hold on, very much longer.
What a glorious scene, Mona. So lovely to see the autumn colours combined with snow on the hills. We are still waiting for snow, but glad there was none during the recent flood, or it could have been worse if there had been snow melt to add to the equation!
