2023-01-04 winter read

This year no New Year’s resolutions for me!

But I choose,...

(2) to read those interesting books, that pile up on the bedside table and languish in the e-book reader. A chance to engross myself in someone else’s webs of imaginations, a way to let the world, and the worries fall away, to decompress from my work, and put the ?smart? phone aside.
What a beautiful little world!

I love your photo and your caption. I too love to escape into a book when I get the chance, but I do like the way you have written it.

I have made that choice too for this year. So far, so good! Beautifully illustrated intention. I wish you success in your objective.

Beautiful description and I like the way the flakes seem to come out of the book.

This is lovely and beautifully executed. Would you consider entering it into the composite challenge that finishes on January 14? There are no entries yet and this would work wonderfully well. Something surreal or unreal.

This is lovely Mona. The words and the image. I'm trying to get through my pile of books by the bed too! I'm reading 'The Salt Path' now, having just finished 'Lessons in Chemistry', which I loved.

Excellent! I, too, have that pile by my bed. Three of them new books that I'm slowly getting into when I'm not too exhausted to read. :)
