Fossa by monicac

The fossa (Cryptoprocta ferox) is, according to google, the biggest predator in Madagascar. The couple in the zoo are rather lazy, though, and you usually see them sleeping on a tree branch, but last time I arrived there just before their breakfast was due, so they were totally awake and alert.
Great capture and interesting information. Fav!

@bkbinthecity Yes, they are not very well known - I saw them in the zoo, then googled it to find more information.

An interesting animal, the name sounded familiar because of the film Madagascar ;)!
