Happy Easter!
In Spain, we don't do easter egg hunts. The tradition in Valencia (where I live) on Easter Sunday is to eat the "Mona de Pascua". People go to the countryside or to a park, fly kites, jump rope and eat the "mona". Monas can be covered with chocolate or not (but why would you buy one without chocolate?), and the egg in the middle can be chocolate or a real, hard-boiled egg; the tiny sprinkles on top, on the other hand, are a must. These monas are only made in Valencia and the surrounding area, in the rest of Spain they don't have this tradition - nor this particular type of pastry.
thanks for sharing your traditions
