The Mad King's Castles

The yellow one is Hohenschwangau, which was actually the Bavarian royal family's holiday home. Ludwig II had the other one built (apparently to enjoy with his lovers). Its name is Neuschwanstein, and he never actually lived there - apparently he was more interested in the fairy-tale image, but prefered living in the more comfortable family castle.
