Open flowers

We have a couple of clumps that produce blossoms from blue to pink, going through violet. I find them fascinating.
In these here, the blue and the pink ones are holding rain water.
I am adding this to the macro challenge, because the blossoms are fully open, and these flowers also have an open center, unlike many other flowers.
Fun fact 1: Forget-me-not flowers are also called scorpion grass
Fun fact 2: Forget-me-not is the official flower of the stat of Alaska.
So beautiful

Lovely array of bloom colors... great info and I think Uni would have looked great amongst the blooms.

@kvphoto These blooms are too tiny to squeeze fatsy Uni among them. That is why Uni ended in the background, looking up at them.

Our freesia do a similar color transformation. Ours go from pink to blue to violet. But violet looks quite warn though. Love the drops and the way you captured the cluster.
