Slip of the tongue

I was inspired by Diana's edits and edited the bit of one of my dogs I intended to post for the macro challenge.
The dog has an underbite (lower jaw protruding a bit in front of the upper jaw) and whenever she sleeps her tongue tip slips out.

@yaorenliu it is the mouth of my dog lying on the side, and with the tip of the tongue out of the mouth. The shot is taken vertically with the dog lying on the side. Does it make sense now?

I see this is a troublesome photo. So, if you still have trouble seeing the tip of the tongue coming out from the dog's mouth, try tilting your head to the left. It is upper lip, tongue, lower jaw.
