20 meters away from yesterday's beauty is this. As you can notice on the lower floor to the right, the two windows have been replaced with the modern ones, but preserving the shape.
To the left, a new buildin was built. To the right, the green one is in better shape.
Just look at the gate of this one: so detailed and intricate and left to decay. Too bad I was not able to get a sharper shot.
Beautiful building. The old, wooden houses in Bergen are popular, they are well maintained and bought and sold at high prices.The old, brick apartment buildings not so much. Which I think is sad because they contribute to give a Bergen its character just as much as the wooden houses.

@dkellogg It is in the center of the town, and there are beautifully renovated buildings in the area. It really is a gem with so much potential, but so lacking the money.
@helstor365 That is so very interesting. Prices of places to live in my town are rocket high, as if it were at least Vienna or Munich... incredible. And strangely enough, people pay.
