I've never seen such a flower before. It was only one on the forest floor, emerging from the layer of dry leaves. Accidentally, the day before yesterday I learned that in English it is called Dogtooth Violet. The Romanian version would be Deertooth.
I am fascinated at what my telephoto lens can achieve.
The telephoto lens is merely another tool in your toolbox that gives you more options. You achieve the photos Moni. And you have done well here. I love the shallow dof and nice sharp focus on the flower.
You have found a beautiful flower. Great shot too. But I would have cropped the top and one of the sides of the picture if you couldn't get it closer with the telephoto lens. Usually it's unfortunate to compose the subject so centrally.
