Two Alone by Sandra Brown - in my defense: this was very hip in the early '90s, when I was a teenager. And I never read one. And chance brought this my way and I thought: why not? Well, for those who have not yet read any Sandra brown: if this had two more pages, I would have ended on insulin.
The Tell-Tale Brain by V.S. Ramachandran - non-fiction; neurology, psychology. I know. :D
If the first one took me a few hours to read, the second one took me the rest of the month.
This time of the month again, The Tell-Tale Brain sounds interesting.

@yaorenliu Yes, that time, indeed. The book is very interesting. It is a difficult read as it has quite a lot of scientific information. But it is definitely worth the effort. I read it with the pencil in my hand.

Interesting choices. I too like to have a fiction and a non-fiction on the go at the same time.

I rarely read non fiction as I like my reading to be relaxing and fun rather than educational and serious, I guess I had too much of that sort of stuff at work.

Sounds very interesting, I hate reading books where I need a pencil or dictionary ;-)

Interesting reads. I see one as letting the brain relax and then giving it a bit of a workout.

Both look very interesting!

The Sandra Brown is like the reward after the brain punishment of learning via the challenging nonfiction read… right????

@wakelys Indeed! I did not know how to express it. But yes: one smoothened the cerebral cortex (we all need that every now and then) and the other wrinkled it back. Hopefully đŸ˜€
