The queen of the night by monikozi

The queen of the night

That's the common name of this flower. But it does not answer when called by the name.
It grows in clumps and has a strong fragrance at dawn. There is a moth that visits it, with a long trunk, and it flies backwards as hummingbirds do.
It's beautiful!

@wakelys It is not jasmine proper, but apparently in English it is also known as jasmine tobacco. Go figure...

This is a sturdy plant. It grows in the most unexpected places, like between the tiles of the garden path, in the most trodden parts too. It seems it is a sort of tobacco... nicotiana alata by its official name. Maybe if I call it by that name, it will eventually answer... https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nicotiana_alata
