Using watercolours by monikozi

Using watercolours

For the burst I dripped a bit of watercolour and blew in it with a straw. Then I used a toothbrush for the tiny splashes. The purplish blob in the middle is the excess water dripping from the toothbrush on the first attempt.
My guess is that better results can be achieved by blowing into a straw if the straw is shorter.
Interesting technique, beautiful modern artwork.

A nice collage, and I like your burst, a technique I'll have to try.

@summerfield it woukd not be possible: you drop the warwewd down colour with the brush and just blow in it with the straw. No straw-colour contact. Now it dawns to me: maybe i should have come with the straw closer to the colour, even touch it.
