@ljmanning The owner claimed it is Siberian Owl. I don't know them by sorts and can't argue with you or its owner.
To me it's the 'dream-come-true' type of owl :)
@monikozi Well, now you’ve sent me off on a Google hunt. Apparently they are both part of the same family, but the Siberian Eagle Owls have lighter plumage and a larger wingspan. Regardless, a super cool opportunity!!
