From a series of intimate portraits, this one features a unique twist—This is Jonathan Morris, a colleague at Finigan School of Distance Education who teaches the senior NSW Legal Studies course. Jonathan has been an educator for over twenty years, and this portrait captures his alter ego, "Judge Jono." The concept of Judge Jono was developed as a way to make Legal Studies lessons more engaging and interesting for students. Jonathan thought the character would add a fun element to the live lessons and give students something to talk about when they visit for mini school, where he even dresses up as Judge Jono. During his presentations, Jonathan introduces himself as Judge Jono, stating that the live lesson is being "presided over" by the character. The response from students has been overwhelmingly positive, with many agreeing that Judge Jono should continue leading lessons regularly. The character has made a significant impact, with students finding it engaging and even addressing emails to Judge Jono. Looking ahead, due to Judge Jono's "busy court schedule," the character will likely continue to make regular appearances in Year 11 and 12 Legal Studies lessons
