I took this one night last year while Little Miss Stevie was getting up to mischief. And I thought it was was quite apt for the last photo of this theme.
Little Miss Stevie was bought at the 'Pets Paradise' petstore at Logan Central Plaza 5 years ago on this date. She was a boy when I got her and I picked out 'the sleepy one' as the others were running around the cage trying to get my attention and he was trying to catch a snooze before the next lot of kids came out from school to tap the cage. After Stevie was paid for, introduced to my family... well, the rest is history.... oh! He turned into a she after getting into a fight with another budgie. That was a shocker... but it's turned out that I have a very affectionate female budgie who loves me and my family very much.
She's also a good judge of character. :D
Thank you all for taking part in this themed month. I'm so happy to have seen your photos of your pets and friend's pets and neighbourhood animals. It's been a wonderful and sharing experience. I will definitely keep uploading more photos of Stevie once in a while and let you know how she's doing; seeing you've all fallen in love with her as much as I have... :D

How fun for you to have had so many peacock encounters. I only drive through this neighborhood occasionally, and I just get so excited whenever I see them! They run wild in this neighborhood. Yesterday, I drove through there specifically looking for peacocks and peahens, and I got my wish! Thanks for sharing with us the "Month of Miss Stevie"! Such a sweetie!
When I was in high school, I thought the peacocks were scary, but I guess it's because they were just as scared of us as we were of them. But they are gorgeous birds.
