Last night, I had fun. The sun didn't go down until around six or so, so it gave me time to get on my costume and make-up and put out the pumpkins too. I had also bought a skull for the front door - which had the desired impression for the kids who walked passed. It scared them a little. Very cool.
I watched 'The Rocky Horror Picture Show' and dance to the Time Warp; it was great! I love that movie and then chaperoned the kids around the unit complex at around 8pm (some of the parents didn't trust some of the residents, so asked me if I'd take them. I did because of the safety factor). Anyway, the weather was nice and cool too.
My new neighbours thought I was weird walking around in a witch's costume with heavy make-up on, but personally, I find this time of year fun. I love carving the pumpkins the getting the lollies out for the kids; even if we don't have that many come around.
Happy Halloween everyone! Until next All Hallow's Eve!
Writer, poet, artist and prolific reader.... that's me.
I'm a collector of books, vinyls, coin purses and strange handbags... that's me too.
Otherwise, I love...
nice collage! you look fabulous! Our trick-or-treaters are about to come! I love the little ones! Not so fond of the big tall ones with no costumes expecting candy. But I give it to them anyway.
Ooohhh! Your pumpkins look great with their lights shining. And you turned out to be a lovely witch...what's wrong with that sentence! Lovely witch??? And the skull added just the right touch! Hope you had lots of fun...we only had two trick or treaters -my granddaughters! Sigh!
LOL! Last night my husband and I went and saw the Rocky Horror Picture show at the local theater. It was my husband's first time (He is no longer a virgin :) We had a great time...I forgot how much fun it is and Tim Curry is amazing.
@Becky: Oh, yes, daahling, Tim Curry is just the sweetie in that movie isn't he? I must have had it on a little loud as my next door neighbours went out before the kids and I could prowl around the unit complex for lollies. :)
You look fabulous as always - love that costume :D
