Well, at my place anyway. I pulled out the tree and tossed it into the carport to give it a good shake to make sure nothing had taken up residence in the box during the last 12 months... thankfully, nothing had.
When I put it up next to the stereo this year, Little Miss Stevie looked over at forlornly. For the last four years, I've been setting it up next to her; until this year we got a credenza under the front window; thus meaning the tree couldn't be there this year. So, once I set it up, I found out she loved the tree being by her cage. So, I took her out, put her on my shoulder and set the rest of it up with her right there. She wasn't pleased with that either. So, she flew right over it and onto her cage. I dunno, fussy bird... :)
Anyway, the lights have been put on, streamers too and the wreath has been hung in the window (only because it doesn't fit on the door). And now, the only thing I need to do is finish my Christmas Shopping and avoid the shops - unless I'm going grocery shopping. :)
Writer, poet, artist and prolific reader.... that's me.
I'm a collector of books, vinyls, coin purses and strange handbags... that's me too.
Otherwise, I love...
You will have to show us the finished product :)
