Christmas Day 2010 by mozette

Christmas Day 2010

Yesterday, Mum, Dad and I went to my brother's house for breakfast. He lives on the north side of Brisbane; so we got there a little before 9am. It was a great morning of eating pancakes, opening pressies and then scoffing into freshly laid eggs (by his chooks) with his home made bread and avocado, tomato and fried up ham.
I had bought myself a laundry hamper and the remake of Pink Floyd's 'Dark Side of the Moon' vinyl from 1973; including the posters and stickers and an anniversary poster as well as a virgin press vinyl inside. This particular vinyl was remastered in 2003; and I bought it for around $40 just as a collector's item. I played it while I put together my laundry hamper from 'Howard's Storage'... very cool.
My brother bought me the 'Tintin in Viet Nam' t-shirt and the metal fish (tis' the black thing on to the right of the Zumba kit). Mum bought me the Zumba Kit... and I can't wait to try it out.
It was a wet day, but we all enjoyed ourselves with great food, great company and just simply hanging out. In the afternoon, Mum, Dad and I took off to my cousin's place to have afternoon tea. While there we saw his sister's baby girl - Arabella - and we had coffee and nibblies of cheese and biscuits, Christmas cake and Almond Crescents. Before long, we had to make tracks and come home... it was 7pm. We felt like snoozing the night away on our full stomachs where we had spent the day doing nothing but giving and receiving gifts and then eating the day away.

Merry Christmas all... I totally enjoyed mine; receiving all I wished for and more!
Lovely collage! Nice story too :)
