Yep, it was another scorcher at Mum and Dad's yesterday - for Dad's birthday. While they had tea and coffee - nice and hot - I had an ice coffee in a tall glass to cool off while sitting out the front listening to a 1970's cd playing on the stereo.

I can't drink tea or coffee in this hunidity. I start to sweat and don't stop! Some oldies say it cools you down but I just feel yucky. I'm a big iced coffee fan myself.
I rarely drink hot drink during our summers, but I have heard from older people that the hot coffee helps cool them. Our thermometers have the F temps on the outside ring and the C temps on the inside...just something I just realized from looking at your picture.
