Yesterday, while hanging out with some of my friends around the unit complex, one of them spotted this Kookaburra sitting on their back fence scoping their yard for a feed.
It didn't find one, so just sat there for a while.
Writer, poet, artist and prolific reader.... that's me.
I'm a collector of books, vinyls, coin purses and strange handbags... that's me too.

I haven't had a Kookaburra in my yard for yonks.
We get butcher birds, maggies, fig birds, rosellas, crows & some other noisy ones that wake us up at the crack of dawn with their screeching. :)
I guess that's not bad :)
