An Afternoon of Reading by mozette

An Afternoon of Reading

Yesterday afternoon between midday and 4pm, I had the whole afternoon to myself. Instead of sitting on the computer and wasting such a lovely day away, I got out the deckchair and sat out in the carport and caught up on my reading.

Little Miss Stevie's cage sat on the wheelie bin; where she insisted on taking a swim in her drinking water... she was adamant; even when she was offered her bath of a larger chinese container. And we had a lovely young blue tongue who was startled by me; and I caught him with his tongue out as he walked past.
Good collage!
Nice reading spot!

sounds like a fantastic afternoon! I have a hard time reading outside because I get distracted by everything out there with me. How are you liking Catch-22 and the Alchemist? Two of my favorites, but I haven't heard of your third book. How is that and what is it about?

@weshook Catch-22 is hard to get into; but once I'm in it, I'm fine. The Alchemist is weird. It reminds me of a book a friend of mine tried to write in high school where itwas all narration; and not much dialogue. But this is an interesting book; no chapter headings and it just keeps plodding along.
The other book - the Gargoyle - was something I found I wanted for my birthday in 2009; and I got it. I'm plodding through this one too. It's a gothic romance in modern day... it's good and I'm hoping to finish it soon.
