This morning, I was up nice and early to get some of my much-needed chores done. One of these was to get the lawn mowed. After I went to the shop and bought some milk, made breakfast (but didn't eat it yet), put on the first load of laundry and began the washing up, I pulled out my push-mower and did my lawn. The grass was still all dewy and stuck to it all; and I couldn't resist photographing it!
I decided to call this photo this name after the movie - and the book - of 'The Lawnmowerman' . I remember it as a great sci-fi movie of a simple-minded lawnmower-man who mowed lawns for a living until a scientist offered him a way out to be more intelligent than he ever thought possible; until the lawnmower-man began to want too much power. I remember in the film, he used a mower just like this one to mow the smaller lawns; as well as in his mind to mow over object and people who got in his way.

@fernessa1955 It's funny, I have this mower and have never had a neighbour (as I live a unit complex which neighbours another unit complex) complain about my early or late lawn-mowing habits. However, my next door neighbour has a motor mower and if she begin mowing at 8:30am (like I did this morning), ever person around the place complains about the noise her mower makes... amazing how good these little mowers are; and such a pity not so many people use them any more.
I broke out the power mower today (got it free 2 weeks ago) and started the lawn. Wasn't even 1/4 done when it ran out of gas. It was a nice day and I didn't feel like driving to get more, so I broke out the reliable old push reel mower and finished the job. I think it does a better job anyway. :) I like the color of your mower. Mine is just one color - silver. Not so photogenic as yours.
