This is the Brisbane Powerhouse Museum. It's at New Farm on the Brisbane River and used to power the whole of Brisbane City. Now, it's a focal point in the arts, entertainment and has a restaurant, holds markets and has a massive rose garden behind it. This is a very popular place for families to gather for weddings, receptions, parties, art openings and concerts.
So, from one very formal use, this building - and its grounds - have become a great venue for everything us Brisbanites have wanted.
