Today, I bused it up to Garden City to buy Riley's Birthday Gift. She's turning 12 on the weekend; and I have been saving like crazy to buy her an artists sketching case. I found one at an art store there for less than I thought and bought it; along with a few things I needed too.
On the way back to the buses, I dropped into QBD and found the complete collection of 'Chronicles of Narnia' by C.S Lewis - the unabridged edition - for only $10! When I purchased it, it made up my 10th purchase on my QBD card - so I received a voucher... yay! How good is that? I've got something to use over Christmas.
After that, I struggled to Gloria Jeans and relaxed a little to have a read and an ice coffee - because really, I deserved one after lumbering around a box, and a couple of bags of goodies with me.

I'm a collector of books, vinyls, coin purses and strange handbags... that's me too.

@digitalrn@loey5150 thank you both for you lovely comments. I had also bought my niece her birthday gift that day; so I had my arms loaded with all kinds of things to bring home on the bus... this is when I wished I could have a car to drive. :)
