Progress! by mozette

Progress!

On my birthday, I received a sewing machine - something I really didn't like. However I got an idea on how to use it to what I wanted and made something arty and yet functional. Now, it's taken me a good long while, but I've gotten my Book Baggies almost finished... these are used to protect your books - or ones you've borrowed from friends and the library - nice, clean, safe and tidy when you're reading them. So, when you return them to their rightful owner, they're in the same condition when you borrowed them.

There's still a few things I have to fix on them, but this is the basic look of them.

If you'd like to place an order, here's the blog to go to for more information about them:

And you know, I think I may have my first order from the UK! :D I can't wait until it really takes off.

However, I'll be attaching buttons to these and a little tag to them as well to show they are made by me. Also, I can put your initial on them to make them more personalised :D

Those baggies are a great idea! My books always get bashed in my bag. You should make e-reader baggies too, for those with Kindles etc :) I might send you an order from Melbourne :)

@alia_801 Actually, yesterday, I made a template for an inbetween size that would fit an e-reader... just big enough for an ipad too. :)

@digitalrn @alia_801 @tiiti67 Thank you all for your lovely comments! I'm looking forward to seeing them complete with buttons and my own personal tag on the flap... :)

I've already had an order for one too! All the way from the UK! :D
