Today, it's been miserable, cold and wet. I didn't think I'd get any photos of anything interesting. Not until I put my groceries on the conveyer-belt at the checkouts and the fire drill bell's shrill ring began. The lady worked as fast as she could - so did I - to get my stuff through and paid for before the bell turned into an evacuation sound (a loud whooping noise). Just as I pulled out my debit card, the bell stopped and the whooping began. I paid for my groceries, put away the receipt and grabbed my trollies (as I have a blue one I take with me) and before I knew it we were all standing out in the rain!!!
I waited under cover at the cab rank talking to a lady before I went and ordered a cab from a public phone (after calling to see if Mum was home yet; but she wasn't). Before long, a cab came and I was home... what an exciting, wet, soggy day.
Writer, poet, artist and prolific reader.... that's me.
I'm a collector of books, vinyls, coin purses and strange handbags... that's me too.
Otherwise, I love...
