Merry Christmas to you all! Yesterday was a wonderfully beautiful day here in Brisbane. It wasn't too hot, not raining and not cold... perfect! The sun was out and a lovely breeze was blowing. Gorgeous!
I always get something for myself at this time year; as living alone can be a bit depressing. So, in this collage, the top two photos are my pressies to myself (I signed them from Little Miss Stevie, the fishies and Santa). The bottom two are from family. The best - and most wonderful and most treasured one - is the iTouch that Mum and Dad bought me. When I unwrapped it, I burst into happy tears (there's nothin' like them happy tears are there?) and for the whole day really wanted to fiddle with my new ipod... it wasn't until everyone left at around 7pm that I got a chance to configure it and fiddle with the background and settings. Now, I've got music on it; and I'm all set to listen to many hours of music!
However the day out was lovely at my brother's house. They had a turkey in the BBQ, a wading pool at back with a cover over it and plenty of nibblies and food and coffee to keep us going all day... and we had a Secret Santa thing going for the family.
We returned home at around 11pm that night... what a looonngg day! But isn't it always?
