Yesterday, I was up early and got stuck into the housework. There was a lot to do. I got 3 loads of laundry done, half the washing up, pulled down all the Christmas Decorations and the tree and put them all away. Then, I checked the mail, paid my phone bill, swept out the car port and then? It was too darn hot to do anything... it was 10am. So, I stuck around on the net for a little while until around 1pm.
At that time, I was outside with the side gate open, pulled all my potted plants into the carport, pulled the lawn mower and mowed my lawn, pulled out all the weeds, cleaned the Spin-Reel (and got my finger caught; that means I have a blood blister now!), then I put all the plants back and threw out all the weeds.
It was time to pull in the laundry and have a much-needed shower. After that, I did the rest of the washing up, made up my bed (as I washed my sheets) and then finally sat down for the first time in 3 hours... woah! What a long day! And a busy one too!
I made myself some homemade nachoes and settle in and watched the beginning of 'True Blood' Season 2 on dvd... yep, there was nothing on television I wanted to watch, so I kicked back and had a good night of vampire shows; which I'm happy to say ended early enough for me to go to bed early.

@digitalrn@bkbinthecity@loey5150 thank you all for your lovely comments. I did get a lot done and enjoyed achieving what I've been meaning to get done over the last few months. However when you've got a strange neighbour who can't keep their nose out of anyone's yard or business it's hard to get anything done around your own place in a unit complex. So, when they take off on holidays, it's definitely the time to get in and clean up your own place and make it look great. :D
