Today is my Dad's birthday. He had organised a lunch at the German Club in the city. However, I had a group meditation to attend which had been arranged last month; unfortunate, but I couldn't get out of it.
So, while they all had lunch at the German Club, I was at New Farm Park with about 20 people undergoing a group meditation called the Trees and Earth Meditation. It was uplifting and wonderful... I haven't done one on such a large scale before and I look forward to next month's meeting.
Working Clockwise:
Top Left and along the top: Gazebo we were going to use, but decided against it. A yacht moored on the river. Will setting up the crystals to be charged in the Tree and Earth Meditation. The group talking about what messages and what each person received from the meditation (if anything).
Down the Right side: Vivienne Treagus pulling a funny face, Will and I standing in the hole in the tree for a photo opportunity. The Storey Bridge on my way home on the City Cat.
Along the Bottom to the Left: From the Eagle Street Pier. The reflection of a building onto another. An old facade of a building across the road from the bus stop on Lower Edward Street where I waited for the 555 bus to the Hyperdome.
From Bottom Left back up to the Top Left: The moon almost full. Freesias in bloom along the footpath to Mum and Dad's place on Fitzgerald Avenue.
Main Central photo is the tree with the hole in the centre we all found very fascinating... and we all took photos of it.
Writer, poet, artist and prolific reader.... that's me.
I'm a collector of books, vinyls, coin purses and strange handbags... that's me too.
Otherwise, I love...
