Matisse At the GoMA

I had a very long day in town today - well, not really town, but West End. I went to see the Matisse sketches at Brisbane's Gallery of Modern Art; but didn't count on over 20 school groups being there as well as hundreds of people of the public there too! By the time I had spent an hour there I couldn't wait to leave!

I smsed a friend to meet him on Boundary Street and made my way to our meeting spot, but by the time I arrived, he hadn't. So, I called him and we met up at Rapture (a cool little coffee place off Boundary Street) and chatted for a while.
After that, we sussed out a crystal place next door and went to Grill'd for lunch of hot chips. Because it was such a hot day, I didn't eat all of mine, but did try ( and I was thankful I ordered a snack-sized). Then, we walked to the bus stops at the old Museums and went our own way home.

The buses were so crowded! School kids again! All of them trying to get home. By the time I did get home, I was pleasantly surprised by my Gloxinia plant - again - it has put out two more lovely blooms. That makes it 10 or 12 blooms now... how good is that?
It all sounds like it made a nice day. Your flower is coming along nicely.
