A lot happened yesterday... and I never got to get it down here. So, here it all is:
I went for a long walk (which I'm paying for now with a very sore foot) and took some lovely photos of the the dog-leg that turns Moss Street into three streets and thus takes you into the middle of the industrial estate I live across the road from.
Then, I thought - after getting off the net - to tidy up the home office. It badly needed it; and I got in and was brutal about it all. I tossed out the burnt-out motor of my shredder that broke last year, tidied up a pile of books and put them into 'green bags' and cleaned up everything. I'm proud I did. Now I don't have to do too much to vacuum up here.
Then, I was off to my friend's house to put drops into her cat's eye. Gus has been to the vet yesterday for his weekly check-up on his eye and it's going well, but he still needs another week or so of this. I took some cool shots of cheeky Rainbow Lorikeets having dinner along the path and some shots of a fan I found in my friend's house I thought was lovely. Then! I caught myself a rare photo of Gus himself! Yes, this cat is very camera-shy; and he let me photograph him... how nice was that?
By the time I arrived home around 5pm, I was exhausted and handing out for something to eat... and the cheese and biscuits were what I had.... yummo!... I have these each afternoon as a snack before dinner. No junkfood or crisps for me. This is it. Then, I cook myself dinner and make myself a pot of decaf green tea and eat some dark chocolate.
