Yesterday, I jumped off-line and into my kitchen to clean out the cupboards and wash them out. I had found over Easter that a few cockroaches had claimed a few places in my kitchen as their own; and I wanted to claim it back! So, the fight is on to get my kitchen back on track and tidy again.
This has caused me to also clean out this place of things I don't want or need in here. After two full-on hours of non-stop cleaning, this is what the cupboards look like: neat and tidy, wiped out and ... I can actually find what I need! Now, that's a good kitchen.
Today, I went out to get the paper and milk and also bought some surface spray to use in the places where I know the roaches might try out... gotta break that breeding cycle and keep this kitchen where it belongs, in my hands, not theirs. :)
Writer, poet, artist and prolific reader.... that's me.
I'm a collector of books, vinyls, coin purses and strange handbags... that's me too.
Otherwise, I love...
What I can't believe is that I have 8 (count them) casserole dishes! I found a 9th one and ended up giving that to my next door neighbour as I just didn't have the room for it anywhere; and I thought he could use it. :)
@loey5150 They're freaky little critters... and I hate them. So, best to spray where I think they might be than think they might not be there.
Oh... I did put Little Miss Stevie upstairs while I sprayed the kitchen with the surface spray... so she had a grand old day in my bedroom, chatting to the birdies outside my window and enjoying a different view for the day. :D
