On Saturday afternoon, I was around at Mum and Dad's place after my writer's meet-up. During that time, I watched while Dad fed the birds around the place with bread. A few of them came right up to him and ate right from his hands; like this little guy here!
Later on, there was another one on the clothes line that ate some bread from my hand too... normally these kinds of birds are so jumpy and fly off quick and yet they're not here.

@digitalrn It did with me too! I have other photos of the birds flying around Dad while he was at the clothes line handing out and tossing food in the air and they're catching it all... but without the collage facility on Picmonkey, I've yet to be able to put them up in one hit... bummer..... oh well, this one was the absolute cutest one of the lot. :)
@digitalrn@annelis@loey5150 thank you all for your lovely comments. I used to attract birds to my yard with seed - as I had a lot of parrots in my area - however feral cats ruined that little bit of paradise quite easily and they never came back... poor little birds.
Now, I feed the odd possum with scraps from my kitchen and the odd half-rotten banana... they love me for it. :D
