Woohoo! I finally was able to get to the post office today and pick up my parcels for my birthday. How exciting is that?
My birthday buddy from Bookcrossing, Froggirlwendy (yep, that's a screen name) works for the Police Department here in Brisbane and we've been Birthday Buddies for a few years now... and we totally amaze each other each year. However we've never met. This year, she blew me away with this secret book... a book that is hollow in the centre to hide things. How gorgeous it it? Inside it, she hid all those things in the first picture... very cool! I love it! The books in the lower right photo are also what were in the parcel too - but weren't wrapped in with the secret book. :)
The two books in the upper right corner are from another friend in New Zealand who thought to send me a Random Act of Bookcrossing Kindness (RABCK) for my Birthday and Christmas. I didn't expect to receive this one, but it happened. :D
How cool is this? I received two parcels instead of one for my birthday; and they are of great things!

And in case you're all wondering what I'm sending her for her birthday at the end of this month: A Party In A Box. I've bought a pretty box from the post office and have a book that is from her Bookcrossing Wish List and I'm going to fill this box with bags of lollies, a bag of balloons, streamers, poppers, noise-makers and anything else that makes a party fun! :D And I might burn a cd or two of my favourite bands for her to play on her birthday at her party .:D Yep, that's my party in a box! :D
